We would like to welcome Riu Rodríguez Sakamoto to the Ensign team who will be helping to develop, manage and document the Electrical Network Sub Digital Twin project (Work Package 2) according to modern software engineering standards and information models.

Riu Rodríguez Sakamoto is a PhD student within the Mathematically Structured Programming group in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Strathclyde. In his doctoral studies he conducts interdisciplinary research in the field of applied category theory, studying mathematical models of control theory and reinforcement learning. Previously he was a researcher at the Institute of Microelectronics of Seville (Spain), developing embedded AI solutions, after a B.Sc. in Physics and Material Engineering and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from University of Seville.
