International Women’s Day, on Saturday 8th March, is an annual celebration of the achievements of women and a call to action for accelerating progress towards gender equality. This year’s theme, Accelerate Action, challenges us all to move beyond words and take bold steps to drive meaningful change. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.
This is a day that has been observed since the early 1900s and today it continues to be a global move to advance gender equality as well as celebrating the achievements of women across the world.
Ensign are incredibly proud of all the women who work on the project, from academics, researchers to our industry members, each one of them making an important contribution to the project.
